THE JUST-HIT vs
THE ORIGINAL: which
one to choose to start?
This is the question every new customer asks when they arrive on the site. Two boosters seemingly similar, with a €3 price difference. But their philosophies are fundamentally different. Here's the complete comparison — drop rates, ideal profile, usage scenarios — so you don't make a mistake.

Comparison of drop rates
Here's a visual comparison of the probabilities for each rarity level. To understand the drop rates for the entire range, consult our complete guide to The Lucky Hand drop rates.
Probabilities by rarity level
HIT — Illustrated Uncommon
What the "—" means for THE JUST-HIT: Rares, Ultra-Rares, and Legendaries are not "impossible" in THE JUST-HIT — they are simply not represented as declared drop rates. The hand-picked selection aims for the minimum HIT. It can happen that a card above this level is included, but it is not guaranteed or communicated as an official rate.
The real difference between the two
Both boosters guarantee a HIT. But they have different philosophies.
THE JUST-HIT is a booster of certainty. You know exactly what you're going to get: a visual, shiny, guaranteed hit. No surprises downwards, no surprises upwards either. It's the booster for those who want the thrill of a beautiful card without any uncertainty about the outcome.
THE ORIGINAL is a booster of possibilities. You have the same basic guarantee — no commons — but with, in addition, a real probability of pulling something exceptional. It's the booster that keeps the thrill of a true surprise. You might very well pull a HIT, but you could also pull a Rare worth €15, an Ultra-Rare worth €50, or a Legendary worth €150.
In short: THE JUST-HIT removes disappointment. THE ORIGINAL removes disappointment and maintains the hope of a big surprise.

5 concrete scenarios — which one to choose?
You have €10-15 to spend on a Pokémon fan friend. With THE JUST-HIT, you can offer 2 or 3 boosters — multiple openings, multiple moments of pleasure. With THE ORIGINAL, you offer 1 or 2 with a little more potential in each opening.
→ Recommended: THE JUST-HIT ×3 to multiply the opening moments.
You want a Rare or an Ultra-Rare — not just a HIT. THE JUST-HIT will not give you a guaranteed Rare. THE ORIGINAL gives you a 26% chance with each opening. With 4 THE ORIGINAL boosters (~€28), you will statistically get one.
→ Recommended: THE ORIGINAL ×4 for a real chance of a Rare.
You want to receive a booster every month without thinking about it. Both exist as subscriptions. THE JUST-HIT X at €3.80/month is the accessible monthly appointment. THE ORIGINAL X at €6.80/month offers more potential each month for €3 more.
→ Depends on budget: THE JUST-HIT X if budget is tight, THE ORIGINAL X if you want more thrill.
If Japanese cards appeal to you — better centering, superior printing, collection prestige — THE JUST-HIT does not exist in a Japanese version. THE ORIGINAL JAP, however, guarantees a minimum Japanese AR for the same price of €6.99.
→ Recommended: THE ORIGINAL JAP without hesitation.
You want to test the concept without investing too much. THE JUST-HIT at €3.99 is the ideal entry point — you understand the Only Hit promise at the lowest price. Once convinced, you can upgrade to THE ORIGINAL or premium boosters.
→ Recommended: THE JUST-HIT for the first test.

FAQ
Can you pull a Rare in THE JUST-HIT?
The official drop rate of THE JUST-HIT guarantees a minimum HIT. Rares and Ultra-Rares are not declared rates for this booster. The selection aims for the HIT — it can happen that a card above is included, but it is not guaranteed. If you want a guaranteed Rare, go for THE JUST-RARE or THE ORIGINAL.
Is THE ORIGINAL JAP more worthwhile than THE ORIGINAL FR?
Same price (€6.99), higher minimum level (Japanese AR instead of a HIT). If the card's content doesn't matter to you — readable or not — the JAP version objectively offers more for the same budget. Japanese cards also often have better centering and superior print quality.
What's the best booster to start with at The Lucky Hand?
For a first experience, THE JUST-HIT at €3.99 is the ideal entry point — you understand the concept with minimum investment. If you want more potential for surprise right away, THE ORIGINAL at €6.99 offers the best ambition/price ratio. Both are available as a monthly subscription.
Do these two boosters exist in subscription version?
Yes. THE JUST-HIT X at €3.80/month and THE ORIGINAL X at €6.80/month. Both include delivery on the 5th of the month, loyalty points on each debit, and cancellation at any time without notice. THE ORIGINAL is also available in a JAP subscription version (THE ORIGINAL JAP X, same price).
